Released on October 15th, 2024, “X-82”, 82MAJOR’s second mini album and their third album release overall, has charted on BILLBOARD this week. 82MAJOR’s mini album “X-82” ranked high on the ‘Top Album Sales’ Chart at 45, ‘Top Current Album Sales’ Chart at 37, ‘Emerging Artists’ Chart at 24th, and ‘World Albums’ Chart at 15. Marking an accomplishment for them only a year after they debut.
This mini album also achieved memorable chart rankings. According to recent reports from Luminate, it landed 5th on the ‘Top New Artist Albums Chart, 36th on the ‘Heatseekers Albums Chart, and 13th on the ‘Record Label Independent Current Albums Chart. “X-82 also ranked 20th on the ‘Internet Albums’ Chart.
The music video for the title track ‘Stuck’ (seen below) quickly gained global recognition, garnering 11 million views on YouTube in just one week. The catchy chorus and impressive choreography from ‘Stuck’ has gained popularity on TikTok, inspiring multiple dance challenges. In addition, “Face Time” and “Gossip,” were written and produced by all six members off of “X-82”. Demonstrating the potential and active participation they have in all their music.
82MAJOR is marking their place in the international music scene, gaining more attention from the U.S. music industry. This past July, they were featured on the cover of The HypeMagazine, one of the most notable hip-hop publications in the U.S.
