Korean alternative pop-rock boy band Catch The Young once again lit up the stage at the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival (JUMF 2025), held this past week at Jeonbuk National University Stadium in Jeonju-si, Korea. This year the band made their return on the festival’s main stage.
The five members—Sani, Kihoon, Namhyun, Junyong, and Jungmo—opened their set with warm vocals and soaring melodies on “The Way To You.” They kept the energy high with “Ideal Type,” a retro-inspired rock track infused with synth grooves, before showcasing their versatility through “Talking To Myself” and “Dream It.”
The performance hit its peak with a powerful rendition of Queen’s classic “Don’t Stop Me Now,” rearranged with Catch The Young’s signature sound that had the entire crowd singing along. Their debut single “YOUTH!!!” amplified JUMF’s electric atmosphere and started a beautiful sing-along across the stadium. Closing with “The Legend,” the group exited the stage radiating confidence through two relentless years of live performances since their debut on November 1st, 2023.
“Sharing this moment with the JUMF crowd will remain unforgettable for us” – Catch The Young expressed their gratitude.

Building steady momentum through university festivals, solo concerts, and even street busking, they have earned a reputation for their interactive, high-energy live shows. Their back-to-back appearances at the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival and JUMF this summer firmly cemented their place as one of the most exciting emerging acts on Korea’s festival scene.
This September, the band will take the stage at the Sound Planet Festival, continuing to shape their identity that defines and expresses youth. Looking ahead, Catch The Young plan to take on new challenges in 2025 with the release of their first full-length album, promotional activities in Japan, and tours across America and Europe to further establish themselves as the next generation of K-Rock.
