Another office romance is making an impactful debut on the small screens with this new drama by SBS! Headlined by Ahn Eun-jin and Jang Ki-yong, Dynamite Kiss asks a pertinent question fitting today’s time: How far will you go for a job?
When our female lead stumbles upon a once-in-a-lifetime career offer with a very specific requirement, she answers our question by going above and beyond. However, not everything goes smoothly when her new team leader turns out to be the person she shared an unexpected kiss with a few nights prior.

Dynamite Kiss is helmed by Kim Jae-hyun, known for the comedic yet heartfelt legal drama One Dollar Lawyer (2022). A departure from his earlier directorial work, this new project aims to charm viewers with swoon-worthy scenes and a unique “love-hate” relationship dynamic. With a sweet mix of humor and heart, it’s poised to be an unforgettable show to end the year on.
Dynamite Kiss: An Explosive Kiss and a Web of Lies
Dynamite Kiss follows Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin) and Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong), who meet by chance during a trip on Jeju Island. After a run-in with her horrible ex, Da-rim is forced to ask Ji-hyeok to be her fake boyfriend. Lucky for her, Ji-hyeok also needed to get close to her ex to seal his trillion-won client, so he immediately agrees. However, real feelings begin to bloom between the two when they share an unexpected kiss in the middle of their scheme.
In true “Cinderella” fashion, their love story gets cut short when Da-rim is forced to leave early due to an emergency, leaving Ji-hyeok without any way to contact her. Fast forward to a peculiar job post later, Da-rim and Ji-hyeok reunite as the new employee and team leader of a company. What would’ve been a touching reunion turns into a disaster when Ji-hyeok finds out Da-rim is not only married, but also has a six-year-old son.
Ahn Eun-jin as Go Da-rim
Ahn Eun-jin takes on the role of Go Da-rim, an unemployed woman who’s been trying to pass her civil service exam for five years. Adding to her troubles, a terrible job interview left her traumatized, making it even harder for her to enter the corporate workforce. Nevertheless, she always appears optimistic, persevering through life despite constant setbacks. However, when an unfortunate incident befalls her family, she’s forced to take on multiple jobs as their sole breadwinner.
After coming across a job post looking for mother employees, she ultimately decides to fake her background for the position. Now playing as a married mother with a son, she’s put under the care of Ji-hyeok — her new team leader, and the man she shared a kiss with in Jeju.

Jang Ki-yong as Gong Ji-hyeok
Jang Ki-yong plays Gong Ji-hyeok, a successful businessman who doesn’t believe in love. He’s calculative and cool-headed when dealing with clients but turns gentle and warm-hearted with the people he loves.
His long-standing perception of love crumbles after an explosive kiss with Da-rim leaves his heart pounding out of his chest. When she leaves him without warning, he goes into a desperate search to find her in Seoul. But when they finally reunite, Ji-hyeok’s happiness quickly becomes short-lived after finding out her “real” identity.

Woo Da-vi as Yu Ha-yeong
Woo Da-vi stars as Yu Ha-yeong, a deputy director of an art gallery. Her refined appearance reflects her affluent upbringing, but her playful charm adds an endearing twist. As the daughter of a powerful chairman, she’s forced into an arranged marriage with Ji-hyeok. But after meeting a certain photographer, she attempts to start a love story of her own — but not without its own ups and downs.

Kim Mu-jun as Kim Seon-u
Last but not least, Kim Mu-jun steps into the shoes of Kim Seon-u, a single father with a six-year-old son named Jun. He’s also an award-winning photographer who became inactive due to undisclosed reasons. As Da-rim’s longtime friend, he’s always there to support her and vice versa in times of need. Unfortunately, that also means he has no choice but to become her fake husband to help her keep her job. To make matters worse, Ha-yeong steps into the picture and shows interest, complicating their setup even further.

When and Where to Watch
Kicking off with back-to-back episodes, Dynamite Kiss made waves with its premiere on Nov. 12 and 13. With a 14-episode run, fans can expect fresh releases every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00 p.m. KST on SBS. Meanwhile, international viewers can tune in at the same time through Netflix.
