After the success of The Abysmal tour, rising indie artist hannah bahng returns with her upcoming single, “Sweet Satin Boy,” set to release on July 11. Released under her independent label, Bahng Entertainment, hannah is deeply involved in every aspect of the track—from composing and writing to production—alongside longtime collaborator Andrew Luce. This single is anticipated to be an emotionally charged reflection on the painful tension of a relationship it should end but cannot seem to let go of it.
Teased on her social media, “Sweet Satin Boy” will be released following “what never lived”, which dropped earlier this year. That introspective track—centered on the grief of something that never fully existed— gathered over 2 million streams on Spotify alone. Previously, her debut album, ‘The Abysmal EP’, has also seen major success, accumulating nearly 40 million Spotify streams to date.
Outside of music, hannah is expanding her creative presence into fashion and beauty. She recently modeled for Vandy the Pink’s Pokémon collection and become the first global ambassador for Korean beauty brand rom&nd. Through these collaborations, she brings her distinctive aesthetic and authenticity to an even broader audience.
