Fresh from KCON LA 2025, J-pop group JO1 is back with their new single “Handz In My Pocket.” The band took the main stage at SUMMER SONIC 2025 last weekend, building a surge of new fans with their stage presence and performance. Additionally, the band celebrated their 5th anniversary in March and released the album ‘BE CLASSIC’ in April, with ‘BE CLASSIC’ becoming their best album and marking a milestone as JO1 became the first Japanese boy group to rank on the U.S. Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay chart.
“Handz In My Pocket”
JO1 officially announced their 10th single, “Handz In My Pocket,” which serves as the pre-release for the title track of their upcoming EP. The single will drop on Sept. 25 (JST), while the full EP arrives on Oct. 21 (JST). An English version will also be released on the same day as the EP.

The concept of “the pocket” symbolizes the confidence, potential and hidden talents of JO1 as they advance into this next and new chapter. As well as acknowledging them as a group and individually to reveal their infinite possibilities and moments of transformation through this milestone with “Handz In My Pocket.”
A total of 14 versions will be released for this EP: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Regular Edition, and 11 FC-exclusive editions. Also, for the first time, solo jacket editions for each member will be included.
Lastly, ahead of the single’s release, JO1 will hold a special 5th anniversary event, “2025 JO1 5th Anniversary Matsuri,” on Oct. 18–19 (Sat–Sun). The announcement has stirred excitement for their growing success both domestically and internationally.
