KINO, South Korean singer and songwriter, performed at iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango Village at Huntington City Beach on May 10. The singer turned heads wearing a standout outfit, drawing attention on both the stage and the red carpet. KINO made a notable entrance wearing a mask, which he later removed to reveal his true self to the audience. The idea behind this appearance was to represent his wish for acceptance and liberation from judgment and validation.

On the stage, KINO captivated festival goers with his compelling and energetic stage presence and versatility, seamlessly transitioning between genres like rock, ballads, and catchy pop, all while actively engaging with his fans.

KINO has been actively working to establish himself as a solo artist, experimenting with genres like pop, R&B, and rock. Hoping to solidify his personal sound outside of his group, PENTAGON, his songs resonated with both dedicated fans and newcomers at the festival. “Skyfall” and “Everglow,” two of his most popular songs, delighted the crowd, and the audience sang along and cheered throughout the entirety of his set. Fans expressed looking forward to the next steps in KINO’s solo journey, supporting him both on the red carpet and on the stage.
The pre-show took place on the vibrant festival grounds of iHeartRadio’s 102.7 KIIS FM Wango Tango, presented by Fiji Airways, featuring food trucks, brand activations, and live performances from global superstars, all creating a lively beachside festival atmosphere. The main event, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, showcased performances by chart-topping artists such as Doja Cat, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor, and David Guetta.
