LE SSERAFIM AND J-HOPE TO TEAM UP FOR A TASTY COLLAB ON “SPAGHETTI”

On Oct. 20, 4th-generation icons LE SSERAFIM unveiled a special collaboration that left fans in an uproar. While K-pop fans are no strangers to hot collaborations, they were excited to hear that BTS’ j-hope would participate in his first feature with a K-pop girl group! The highly anticipated project includes a teaser video titled “THE KICK” featuring j-hope as well as a snippet of the main track, “SPAGHETTI.”

In the teaser video released by HYBE LABELS, j-hope appears in various clips, exuding strong, fearless energy much like LE SSERAFIM’s brand. The anticipation for “SPAGHETTI” has only grown since the release of the teaser. The combination of bright visuals, thrilling sounds, and high energy makes the perfect recipe for a saucy track. The video ends with a preview of the “EAT IT UP!” refrain sung by both j-hope and LE SSERAFIM. Although brief, it fuels anticipation for both the collaboration and the album, ‘SPAGHETTI,’ altogether.

Alongside the teaser, LE SSERAFIM has found creative ways to tease the release of ‘SPAGHETTI.’ Across streaming platforms, you can find that their album covers are now painted with sauce splatters. What was once a confusing concept has become an iconic reminder of LE SSERAFIM’s versatility.

PREVIOUS COLLABORATIONS

This is j-hope’s first girl group collaboration; however, this is not his first creative intersection with LE SSERAFIM members. LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin previously featured on j-hope’s special album, ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1.’ That being said, fans are incredibly excited to see the intersection of a third-gen icon alongside fourth-gen powerhouses once again. His participation in LE SSERAFIM’s 1st single album showcases his dynamic creative work while bridging the two generations together.

Additionally, LE SSERAFIM are no strangers to collaboration. Their growing portfolio includes partnerships with artists such as JVKE, PinkPantheress, Nile Rodgers, and many more. With each collaboration, we see the evolution of a fearless and boundary-defying group. That being said, they’re more than capable of delivering a hot track that will get everyone moving.
