Off the back of another highly successful concert tour, popular K-pop boy group P1Harmony have returned with their latest mini album, ‘UNIQUE.’ The group has always been known for their ability to stay true to themselves while still pushing the boundaries of their artistry and musical versatility. This comeback perfectly sums up their individualistic energy, at the same time as welcoming new sounds into their discography and exploring new genres for the team.
From Most Wanted to Most Unique
P1Harmony are a six-member Korean boy group, signed with FNC Entertainment and CAA (Creative Artists Agency) for international activities. The members (KEEHO, THEO, JIUNG, INTAK, SOUL and JONGSEOB) recently wrapped up their Most Wanted concert tour with their final stops in Europe at the beginning of this year, before their final encore concerts in Seoul this March. This tour saw them upgraded from smaller venues to selling out larger arenas.
Their international appeal and popularity have been slowly increasing over the past couple of years, particularly after their previous comeback, ‘EX,’ which featured the release of the group’s first-ever fully English mini album. International fans in particular connected with this album, as it saw the boys embrace a more Western sound while adding their own flair.
Released on March 12, 2026, ‘UNIQUE’ is the group’s ninth mini album. With this release, it was time to see the boys return to their usual multilingual tracks. However, they are taking their sound in a myriad of new directions, offering sound worlds unique from all of their previous albums. The EP embodies a fierce boldness and unwavering power in individualism that commands listeners’ attention from the first beat. This comeback has also seen the opening of the members’ personal Instagram accounts — something that has been long-awaited by P1ece all around the world.
The mini-album features six new tracks from the group: “UNIQUE,” “Pandemonium,” “L.O.Y.L.,” “Wednesday Girl,” “Triple 7,” and “ICE (VVS). ” It features dynamic production across all tracks and highlights the group’s individuality and unique musical exploration. There is a clear sense of growth across this release, yet it remains undeniably P1Harmony at the core.
“UNIQUE”
As the eponymous title track, “UNIQUE” sets the album up as a means to go on with a hard-hitting, high-energy opener. It features a bass-driven hip-hop sound that blends a dance-pop feel with a distinct Latin-inspired sound. The song integrates Korean, English and Spanish lyrics, showing off the multilingual talents of the members. It focuses on confidence and self-love while honoring the group’s strong sense of unity and each member’s irreplaceable spot in the team.
“Pandemonium”
The next track, “Pandemonium,” leads on nicely from the title track, keeping up this high, intense energy. It brings the group’s chaotic nature to life, representing an unrestrained energy that evokes intense excitement and unabandoned fun. Its heavy bassline encourages an unstoppable need to move along with the track, and the members have truly embraced their experimental quality with this brand new type of song for them.
“L.O.Y.L.”
This track brings an R&B groove and trap style into the album, twisting it into even more genres. Standing for “Love of Your Life,” the song emphasizes self-worth and confidence, a key theme across the entirety of this album. It shares that being unique is a “one-of-a-kind” thing and likens this to the striking of lightning. Musically, it features big tonal shifts throughout. Its strong rap sections from members JONGSEOB and INTAK contrast against the soulful vocals from KEEHO and THEO.
“Wednesday Girl”
“Wednesday Girl” is the softest song on the album, creating a strong variance from the heavier, high-energy tracks featured up to this point. It has a much more melodic and casual sound from the group, focused mainly on vocals; it is particularly a strong moment for member JIUNG. There is still an upbeat feel to the track, but it feels fresher and lighter than the rest of the EP. Thematically, it is focused upon the thrill of meeting someone special and new.
“Triple 7”
With this track, the album drops back into a hip-hop sound, amping the energy back up to the max. Seven is highly regarded as a lucky number within many cultures, representing prosperity and wisdom. Equally, the angel number 777 also represents luck, prosperity and alignment with one’s true purpose. P1Harmony uses these connotations through this song to express how they have made their success through hard work and perseverance, rather than relying on luck.
“ICE (VVS)”
“ICE (VVS)” oozes an undeniable confidence from the boys, taking pride in their individualism and iconic image as a group. The title uses the slang term for diamonds, and VVS (Very Very Slightly Included) is a term of measure for a diamond’s clarity. It feels luxurious and rich in its sound quality, as the group owns its high-flying life. The high-energy anthemic track ends the album on a high note, sharing the message of living in the moment and avoiding comparison. Owning who they are and not measuring every action precisely is what makes them an unbreakable, unique team.
