SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS and MINGYU Debut Unit CxM with Mini Album 'HYPE VIBES' • POP TOKKI

Coming in hot with a new unit, SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS and MINGYU will be making their unit debut as CxM (SEVENTEEN) on Sep. 29 with their 1st mini-album, ‘HYPE VIBES.’

Providing CARATs with a first glimpse into the album, their recent trailer captures S.COUPS and MINGYU as they live freely in the moments of their daily lives. Waking up disheveled after a vibrant night out, the duo moves through their day with small yet lively moments, their natural cool blending with the city’s upbeat atmosphere. When the video closes at a beach party, the duo’s infectious energy radiates through a diverse crowd, embodying their free-spirited vibe and genuine connection with others.

In the trailer, they introduce their animated characters, Kuute and Mante, imagined as alien beings who journeyed to Earth to recharge via music, all while adding their own fun and whimsical approach to storytelling.

Originally planned as a single album, ‘HYPE VIBES’ evolved into a mini album offering a wide range of music that celebrates each colorful moment of everyday life. Representing CxM’s ethos of embracing the present in their own way, they welcome everyone to join their vibe and connect.

Both S.COUPS and MINGYU are already known for their leadership, charisma, and versatile musical talents. Their previous projects, including SEVENTEEN’s extensive discography, SVT LEADERS (S.COUPS, HOSHI, WOOZI), and WONWOO x MINGYU, have displayed their wide-ranging skills.
