ZEROBASEONE, consisting of members SUNG HANBIN, KIM JIWOONG, ZHANG HAO, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAERAE, RICKY, KIM GYUVIN, PARK GUNWOOK, and HAN YUJIN, has been named “K-POP Artist of the Year” for Record Store Day 2026.
Created out of MNET’s survival show ‘BOYS PLANET’ in 2023, ZEROBASEONE has since then topped the charts, entering the Billboard 200 at number 23 for their first full-length album, ‘NEVER SAY NEVER,’ becoming their second entry after ‘Blue Paradise.’ ZEROBASEONE’s achievements continue, as they also became the first K-pop group to achieve million-seller status with six consecutive album releases since their debut. Their full-length album ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ marks a major milestone in their career, representing a bold expansion of the group’s discography.
For this year’s Record Store Day, happening April 18, 2026, ZEROBASEONE will be featured in the releases. ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ will be released as a vinyl LP version exclusively for this annual event. The album will be pressed on special edition “Cookie Monster” blue vinyl and include gatefold packaging, a printed inner sleeve, an exclusive poster printed for the LP, and a nine-piece selfie photocard set featuring unseen images of each ZEROBASEONE member.

This will be the group’s final release as a nine-member group, as members ZHANG HAO, RICKY, KIM GYUVIN, and HAN YUJIN are departing from ZEROBASEONE in March after the group’s HERE&NOW Encore in Seoul.
The exclusive LP will be distributed via WAKEONE Entertainment, CJ ENM Entertainment, and Virgin Music Group. Only 3000 copies will be available across participating record stores in the US starting Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Find your local participating store at recordstoreday.com
