On Sept. 1, ZEROBASEONE released their first full album, ‘NEVER SAY NEVER.” Since their debut, ZEROBASEONE has made history as the first K-pop group to achieve million-seller status within all of their album releases. The release of this album proves to be no different, as it has sold over 1.1 million units on its release day alone, making this their sixth consecutive million-selling release.
Following the energy of their pre-release track, “SLAM DUNK,” the album expresses a more fully developed impression of the group, making their identities, strengths, and synergy clear to the listener. The album features 10 diverse tracks, touching a variety of genres. With this album, ZEROBASEONE has crafted their own unique interpretation of maturity, power, and identity.

ZEROBASEONE’s title track “ICONIK” is powerful and confident, including elements of playfulness through ad-libs and a choreography that presents the group in an assertive way.

Goosebumps
“Goosebumps” plays into the groups boyish energy more than the mature one shown through the other tracks. With cute choreography and adorable, quirky outfits, “Goosebumps” is appealing both visually and auditorily. Similar to their releases “Take my Hand” and “Insomnia,” the song is laid back and mellow, all while presenting the steady, sweet-sounding vocals they are known for. “Goosebumps” has proven to be a standout track for ZEROSE, who favor this track for its lighthearted interpretation of love.
‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ has dominated both the physical and digital charts around the world, reaching number 5 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, while the music video for title track “ICONIK” has reached 50 million views. Fans around the world have tuned into the album with hopes of seeing the live performances on the group’s second Asia tour, HERE&NOW.
Although the future of the group is still unknown, ZEROBASEONE has proved that their influence will never be forgotten, creating their own unique sound while exploring a deeper musical spectrum both vocally and performance-wise.
