Jellyfish Entertainment’s boy group, VERIVERY, has finally made their highly anticipated return with the new single album, ‘Lost and Found.’ This release marks their first piece of music in two years, following their 2023 EP, ‘Liminality – EP.DREAM.’ The group’s members, Dongheon, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung and Kangmin, are back in the spotlight after a significant period of inactivity.

Notably, this comeback comes shortly after members Dongheon, Gyehyeon and Kangmin’s participation on Mnet’s K-pop survival show Boys II Planet. This experience became a key part of the group’s recent narrative. In fact, Kangmin was selected as a ‘visual poster’ by trainees. He ultimately ranked 9th overall in the finale, almost debuting with the eight-member group, ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
Now, with ‘Lost and Found,’ VERIVERY is expressing a powerful emotional concept. The album perfectly embodies the deep-seated Korean emotion of “Han(恨)”, which is a feeling born from extreme resentment, grief or regret. Through this single album, the members are actively reaching out to reclaim everything they have lost during their recent hiatus. This theme reveals the group’s intense compulsion and desperation for both long-time VERRERs (VERIVERY’s fandom) and new listeners to focus on their return.
Youngest member Kangmin shared his excitement about the comeback, directly stating,
“We’re back after two and a half years, and I hope you look forward to our growth and improvement that are shown in ‘Lost and Found’!”

Their Music, Their Story
The album delivers three new tracks. The title track, “RED (Beggin’),” kicks off the single album. Listeners will immediately recognize the clever interpolation of The Four Seasons’ famous song, “Beggin’,” but VERIVERY puts their own modern spin on it. The goal is to make the track resonate with older and younger generations. Furthermore, the accompanying music video tells a story of contrasts. It showcases scenes of the past, representing the beautiful days of youth lost to time, alongside present scenes that highlight the harsh reality the group now faces as they step into a new future.
Leader Dongheon also emphasized the members’ genuine involvement in the creation process. He explained,
“VERIVERY members participated in the lyrics or composition for all tracks included in this album to convey the story we’ve been wanting to share with our fans. Please give it a lot of love and support!”

Moving on, the second track, “empty,” brings a high-energy hyperpop base with minimalist hip-hop sounds. Yeonho participated in both the composition and arrangement of this song. Its witty lyrics describe a chaotic and messy mind alongside tangled inner emotions.
Finally, ‘Lost and Found’ concludes with “Cotton Candy (Blame us).” This chill R&B track is a sincere dedication to their fans who faithfully waited for new music and activities. Dongheon and Gyehyeon co-wrote the lyrics and participated in the composition, filling the song with VERIVERY’s confessions of love for their loyal fanbase.
