On Jan. 16, soloist and SHINee member, Taemin, energized crowds with his performance during Taemin Live [Veil] in Las Vegas. With approximately 200,000 people reportedly logging on during ticket sales, the wildly successful show was sold out in just 10 minutes. The show follows the flourishing success of his Japanese arena tour that took place shortly after the release of the tour’s title track, “Veil,” in September 2025. Taemin’s recent foray into the North American market has also given fans a preview of what to expect for his highly anticipated performance at Coachella later this year.

The Show: Taemin Live [Veil] in Las Vegas
Taemin set the stage for the Las Vegas show with a dramatic performance of “Heaven” and continued to captivate audiences with the dark and conceptual themes of “Veil,” “Bones” and “Shadow,” along with a special mashup performance of “IDEA” and “Advice.”
Throughout the show, Taemin showcased his wide range in musical expression with sensual performances of “Guess Who” and “Criminal” set against the delicate and fluid performances of “Door” and “Flame of Love”. Taemin further amped up the crowd by performing his signature track “MOVE” and a rock rendition of “WANT.”
Along with the staple pieces of his discography, the night also brought along surprises as Taemin revealed a sneak peek of his upcoming new song, sharing behind-the-scenes stories with an enthusiastic crowd. The energy of the night was then brought to a powerful close with performances of “Danger,” “Press Your Number” and “I Think It’s Love (사랑인 것 같아)”. At the end of the night, Taemin thanked his fans for their loyal support, saying, “Thank you for giving such a warm welcome and so much love to my first solo concert in Las Vegas. I don’t think I’ll ever forget today, and I promise I’ll come back.”

Next Stop… Coachella!
During his ending speech, Taemin also built up anticipation for his upcoming appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, stating, “I’ll show you my very best performance at Coachella as well, so please look forward to it.” In April, Taemin will become the first male K-pop soloist to perform at the festival, continuing the growing presence of K-pop within the United States and further establishing his global popularity at the world’s largest music festival.
For nearly 20 years, Taemin has been boldly establishing his musical style and artistic vision through both sound and performance, and with this new event on the horizon, fans are excited to see how he continues to push the boundaries of his creative expression.
