BOYNEXTDOOR has taken the world by storm since their debut. In their two years of being active, they have won eight awards, including the Melon Music Awards (MMA) 2023 Global Rising Artist and the Golden Disk Awards 2024 Next Generation award. With the news of the preparing a new album, BOYNEXTDOOR has already broken a personal record just with presales alone! On September 2, they dropped “Dangerous,” a pre-release single leading up to their highly anticipated comeback. ONEDOOR, fans of the boy group, have expressed nothing but excitement for “Dangerous” and the EP ‘19.99.’

“Dangerous” is a groovy yet powerful hip-hop track that captures the carefree charm and youthful high spirits. It tells the story of sneaking out at night and exposing the secrets one keeps hidden from their parents. “Dangerous” has BOYNEXTDOOR’s signature wit and energy. Members Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak contributing to the composition and lyrics to directly translate their real-life experiences into the song.

The music video, released on HYBE LABELS Youtube channel, fully manifests the track’s backstory. It follows the members’ sneaky attempts to take their parents’ car keys and go on a nighttime escape, only to drop them into a dumpster by accident, leading to a chaotic midnight search. This experience is streamed on social media, capturing what it’s like to be a 19.99-year-old with kitschy, meme-like moments. The familiar settings, such as a family home, noraebang (karaoke room), and rooftop, allow the viewers to relate and reminisce on their memories from their youth.

BOYNEXTDOOR announced that their third EP, ‘19.99,’ will be released on September 9 at 6 PM KST and available on all streaming platforms.
