He then does his signature laugh before jumping head first into his verse. From there, everything is second nature for him.

If you want to be stuck in a trance, you’ve come to the right place. Hongjoon’s way of storytelling through dance is evident throughout this entire performance. Not only did he dance the part, but he acted and dressed the part. There’s no way you could watch this fancam and not be glued to him. He continues to break the walls of all things performance related, but he shows us that stage presence is his forte.

“INCEPTION”

If you’ve ever wanted something that was out of reach, this song is for you. As we’ve seen a lot of hard-hitting concepts from Hongjoong, we are now greeted with more of a somber persona. Although the song remains upbeat, it is evident throughout the lyrics and Hongjoong’s acting that a gut-wrenching truth remains.

“GUERILLA”

If the previous fancams broke down the walls, then he has demolished the whole building with this performance. The title track of ‘THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT’ opens with an addicting verse from Hongjoong. Not only is he a fearless leader, but a fearless performer as well. As he keeps up with the intense choreography, he channels a persona that you cannot ignore. Hongjoong knows how to become the song he is performing and we can see it in him during every stage.
