SuA, the main dancer of Dreamcatcher, is widely lauded for her outstanding dance skills. However, fans can marvel at her talents in her dance covers when she’s not killing it in the group’s choreography. Whether you’re a die-hard Insomnia or want to learn more about SuA, here are a few covers to get to know her more.

“Taki Taki” (featuring JiU & Yoohyeon) – Originally By DJ Snake (ft. Ozuna, Cardi B, Selena Gomez)

Released in 2019, this sexy yet dynamic cover of “Taki Taki” is SuA’s most popular dance cover to date. JiU and Yoohyeon, who usually take on the vocalist role in Dreamcatcher, show off their dance skills alongside the queen herself. Although the choreography is relatively short, it left a lasting impact on the fans who have since revisited the video over 8.7 million times.

“Havana” (featuring Dami) – Originally by Camila Cabello & Young Thug

Released in 2018, about a year after Dreamcatcher debuted, SuA showcases her talents as both a dancer and choreographer. This rock rendition of the 2017 summer hit also features fellow member Dami, the group’s main rapper. Currently, the cover has been viewed 1.4 million times since its release.

“Copycat” – Originally by Billie Eilish

Released in 2019, this self-choreographed cover of Billie Eilish’s 2017 single showcased SuA’s darker and sexier side. Donned in a red lip and a simple black-and-white outfit, SuA captivates the viewer with her sultry yet commanding presence. Currently, this cover holds 1 million views since its release.

“Tadow” (featuring Seungyeon of CLC) – Originally By Masego & FKJ

If you thought “Copycat” was sexy, SuA pushes the boundary even further in this collaboration with CLC’s main dancer and leader Seungyeon. For those who may not know, Dreamcatcher and CLC have a strong friendship, but this was the first time the two groups directly worked together. Released in 2020, this cover of Masego and FKJ’s viral hit showcases their talents, skills, and most of all — their chemistry. Currently, this cover has 1.1 million views, but it definitely deserves way more.

Honorable Mention: Official Releases

Although SuA has graced us with her perspective on these hit songs, she has also choreographed many Dreamcatcher releases as well. She choreographed “Red Sun”, a B-side from the group’s first studio album ‘Dystopia : The Tree of Language’, as well as her solo track “No Dot” from their second studio album ‘Apocalypse : Save Us’. We hope to see more of the dance queen’s creativity in the future!
