SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu is no stranger to the fashion scene. He’s walked on runways for Seoul Fashion Week, graced the covers of magazines, and collaborated with high-end fashion brands. Mingyu’s unique blend of casual and sensual has made him stand out as a fashionista in the industry. 1. Cartier Seoul Event
When it comes to fashion events, Mingyu knows how to turn heads. For Cartier’s Seoul event, Mingyu donned a bold red three-piece suit. This monochromatic ensemble made Mingyu stand out amongst the crowd of fashionistas. The color red has a charming effect on people, which certainly worked with Mingyu’s suit. The confidence he exudes in this suit is one of the many reasons why this look is unforgettable.
2. Face The Sun Pioneer Concept
SEVENTEEN’s fourth studio album, ‘Face The Sun,’ delivered a new mature look to the group. The concept photos for the pioneer version of ‘Face The Sun’ featured the members posing with motorcycles, giving them a rough, masculine look, resembling a bad boy or a biker. Mingyu’s apparel included a white denim jacket ( no shirt underneath), and a pair of overalls/a jumpsuit, worn as pants. Although it sounds odd, Mingyu’s strong visuals pulled this look together.
3. LA3C
LA3C marked SEVENTEEN’s first music festival performance as headliners. The group traded their fancy stage outfits for a casual streetwear style. Mingyu opted for a look that takes advantage of layers; his graphic turtle neck, topped with double chains, does just that. His long hair put the cherry on top of this casual look. He took a plain outfit and amplified it using his unique flair.
4. Black Polo
Mingyu is the definition of: it’s not what you wear, it’s how you wear it. How did he make a plain black polo shirt look like an expensive piece of attire? He flaunts his muscles like an accessory to the outfit, along with his sleek glasses. Mingyu’s talent for making anything looks expensive is astonishing.
5. Woo Youngmi Event
Mingyu’s appearances at fashion events leave us speechless every time. His appearance at Woo Youngmi’s event in Korea was sleek and tidy. The fuchsia-colored silk shirt compliments his tan skin, while the black jacket balances out the outfit to guarantee he doesn’t stick out too much. His hair length adds a seductive element to this outfit, creating a classy and desirable getup.
