On Mar. 17, NMIXX celebrated the release of their fourth EP, ‘Fe304: FORWARD.’ The EP successes their 2024 collections, ‘Fe304: BREAK’ and ‘Fe304: STICK OUT.’ This project serves as the third and final part of their ‘Fe304’ trilogy. The trilogy surrounds girls who can magnetically attract others. This is a reference to NMIXX attracting listeners to their work. The six-track project includes the title track, “Know About Me,” and the pre-release, “High Horse.”

“High Horse”
Released on Mar. 4, “High Horse” served as the pre-release for this EP. The song carries a series of sounds such as pop, jazz, and hip-hop. A smooth piano accompaniment delivers an emotional message through your speakers, paired with this combination of sounds. Written by Abir, the track holds a very special place for both listeners and Abir alike!

“Know About Me“
”Know About Me” is the second track on ‘Fe304: FORWARD.’ Serving as the title track, this is a true embodiment of NMIXX, as it carries a level of maturity while maintaining its unique NMIXX sound. Alongside the track are the performance and music videos. Much like the previous videos in the trilogy, the music videos have a strong sense of visual elements that keep you entranced. The combination of elegant vocals, smooth raps, and an addictive beat will get you moving every time you hear this track. “Know About Me” is one of those songs that gets you in your zone and leave you feeling yourself. So the next time you’re getting ready or need a confidence boost, go ahead and tune into this track.
B-Sides
The remaining tracks, “Slingshot,” “Golden Recipe,” “Papillon,” and “Ocean” bring the entire project together. “Slingshot” is the ideal song for your next high-energy workout. The electric music gets you psyched up, makes you feel aggressive, and reveals NMIXX’s distinct identity. The high-bass single “Golden Recipe” emphasizes the group’s girl strength. This, like “Slingshot,” is one of those tracks you listen to while standing on business!
“Papillon” has an extremely futuristic sound. This song is cohesive and has a great ending thanks to the synths and layered vocals. This track shows the exploration of sound and patterns, making it unique and pleasant! Lastly, “Ocean” wraps up this project. The sixth and final track focuses more on beautifully layered vocals and piano melodies. Much like the ocean, this track makes you want to drift away in the best way possible.
NMIXX took a short and sweet approach, with each song averaging about two and a half minutes. Although short, this project was the perfect completion of their trilogy, and we cannot wait to see what else NMIXX is mixing up for us!
