Tomorrow
Changing genres with Tomorrow, Rowoon plays the character of Choi Jun Woong, someone who accidentally meets grim reapers and, due to an accident, becomes part of their team. Instead of being normal grim reapers, their objective is to save suicidal people. Through this drama, Rowoon portrayed a mature transition of Jun Woong into an adult. His portrayal forces viewers into a new perspective, showing them the emotional sides of trauma and the way people save them Although Rowoon’s character does not have a romantic interest in Tomorrow, adding this drama to your watchlist is an opportunity to see a different side of him.
Destined with You
One of Rowoon’s latest roles is Jang Shin Yu in Destined with You. Shin Yu is a lawyer who meets Lee Hong Jo, a civil servant who discovers she can cast spells from an ancient book. Hong Jo, in numerous attempts to give her crush a love potion, accidentally spells Shin Yu into falling in love with her. Although Shin Yu has a girlfriend, he cannot help but have his heart beat faster when around Hong Jo. Through Destined with You viewers can see Rowoon go through the struggle of falling for someone he does not want to fall for, while he is saying and doing things that his heart wants but his mind disagrees with. Destined with You is still being aired, which means it is a timely addition to Rowoon dramas for your watchlist.
