July 7th was a hot day for music releases as Tomorrow x Together and the Jonas Brothers released their new collaboration single, “Do It Like That.” Fans long anticipated the English pop single, and it did not disappoint.
“Do It Like That” features a fun sound with a groovy bass and a beat that makes you want to dance. In addition to the single, there was a music video. The videos’ simplistic vibe included members of the Jonas Brothers and TXT dancing and having fun in an all-white room, the only color being their vibrant personalities, outfits, and instruments played by the Jonas Brothers. Although the video has a simple aura, the song is anything but that. It’s a fun, funky, and fresh pop hit, perfect for a summer drive or kickback.
Fan Reactions
Fans were over the moon to finally hear the new single. Some even joked that they previously went to listen to the single, then remembered it wasn’t out yet. The music video racking up over 10 million views in less than 24 hours, unleashed positive feedback.
This collaboration began to gain traction from big names quickly, even earning praise from the Grammy’s. The recording academy coined this single “the collaboration of the Summer.”
The music label Roc Nation also highlighted the song. It achieved number one on the iTunes charts in over 60 countries, making it a scorching debut.
Additionally, the song quickly gained radio play, exciting many fans. Played in multiple countries like Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and the United States, made it an exciting experience.
It also succeeded in making it onto playlists curated by Spotify!
Both groups have a busy schedule with new releases and concerts, so we are excited to see what else is in store. This release is the perfect refresher for everyone’s summer!
