Yves, South Korean singer-songwriter and member of the iconic 12-member girl group, LOONA, has debuted as a soloist with her first solo EP, ‘LOOP.’ The record marks the start of a new artistic journey for Yves through four tracks: “LOOP,” “Diorama,” “Afterglow,” and “Goldfish”. Following an impressive legacy as a member of LOONA, ‘Loop’ showcases the artist’s unique musicality as she invites listeners to pursue peace through her solo endeavors. This marks Yves’ first release under her new label, PAIX PER MIL, soon after joining the company in March of this year. Fans are delighted to see the artist back under the spotlight since her latest album under LOONA in 2022.
“This album is the first step to creating my world as a solo artist. I’ve been following certain rules and systems for a long time as a part of the group. To me, this album represents my first challenge to get out of a pre-made loop of rules, study myself, and express it through music. Therefore, this EP is immature yet bold, rough yet honest. It also contains my gratitude for fans who have been waiting for me with trust. My CEO, MILLIC, participated as an executive producer for LOOP, and IOAH and blah presented one song each. I am very grateful for all my colleague artists at the company as they supported and cheered on my solo debut.”

The title track “LOOP” is a catchy house-pop track where she expresses frustration from being trapped in the tiresome loops of life. It features South Korean-American rapper, Lil Cherry, and was produced by K-R&B producer IOAH and Paix Per Mil’s executive producer, Millic. Fans know Yves for her captivating stage presence and impressive dancing ability, all of which she showcases in the track’s dynamic music video. In the fan-favorite B-side, “Diorama,” Yves conveys her most intimate emotions as she confronts her idealized self. She dedicates the final track, “Goldfish,” to her fans.
