Ha Sooyoung is the ninth member of LOONA. She is truly an ACE in the idol community, but the area in which she shines the brightest is her talent in dance. She debuted with her solo song “New” in November of 2017. After that, she debuted in the subunit YYXY with “Love4Eva” in May of 2018 and again as a member of LOONA in August of 2018. Through her various debuts and many eras, we will share will you our Top 5 Yves fan cams.
1. 190518 – “favOriTe”
190518 “FavOriTe” literally changed lives. The 190518 fancam from Chori on youtube went insanely viral. Her performance here is outstanding, so the virality is completely understandable. Even this early into her career as an idol, her talent is undeniable.
2. 200206 – “So What”
This 200206 fancam is truly legendary. This fancam amassed almost 300 thousand views on YouTube, easily the highest peak for any of her fancams. This performance was especially legendary because of her incredible facial expressions. She changes from fierce to calm in a millisecond. Yves is truly an incredible performer!
3. 200305 -“Sorry Sorry”
Undoubtedly LOONA is well known for their incredible boy-group covers, like NCT 127’s “Cherry Bomb” and BTS’ “Fire.” One cover that is a little lesser known is their cover of “Sorry Sorry.” This stage is perfect for LOONA’s talents and visuals. The ‘women in suits’ vibe is always appreciated by fans and Yves’ look is truly the pinnacle. Her short hair is slicked back and her makeup is bold and intense, really adding to the powerful performance. Her visuals and sharp choreography make this performance truly electric.
4. 190221 “Butterfly”
“Butterfly,” an important song for Orbits, gives us some of Yves’ best performances. Though “Butterfly” shows perfect and precise choreography from every member, Yves stands out in her solo choreography and beautiful lines. We think “Butterfly” is one of the best showcases for LOONA’s talents overall!
5. Queendom “Pose”
Finally, “Pose”, a performance for Queendom 2. “Pose” presents yet another side of LOONA and even hit the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart after the episode aired. Even if LOONA lost the show, we all won with “Pose” Yves. We were definitely bias-wrecked after watching this fancam. Her gorgeous hair and outfit contrasted beautifully with the challenging and highly involved choreography, specially made for the competition.
Any time Yves is on the stage, she is sure to capture the attention of everyone watching. Her captivating presence and perfect dance capabilities make her a joy to watch. We hope this list didn’t bias-wreck you too hard!
