Over the course of their longstanding career, TWICE has released a multitude of songs showcasing their vocal talents in the pop genre and displaying a sound that’s grown along with them. Each comeback, they never fail to release a title track that catches mass attention on both a local and global level. As the group prepares to celebrate their 10th anniversary soon, let’s take a moment to reminisce on their discography through some of their iconic B-sides!

“Look At Me“
Starting with a b-side whose catchy chorus and cutesy choreography recently saw a resurgence on TikTok last year, “Look at Me” was featured on TWICE’s debut studio album back in 2017. Through this upbeat and bright song, the members encourage the listener to be upfront with their feelings and look them in the eye, a point that’s driven home by all of the members singing the same line in both English and Korean (“Look at me, Look at me, 나를 바라봐, 나를 바라봐”).
“Oxygen“
Featured on TWICE’s 9th mini album, “Oxygen” is an upbeat love song that compares the person they’re interested in with the oxygen they breathe, emphasizing just how much they want to be with them. The chorus features a breathy, whistle-like vocalization to further emphasize this association with breathing. This essentiality is also highlighted through the repetition of lyrics such as “I really really really really want” and “You’re my, you’re my only only one.”
“Do What We Like“
Featured on TWICE’s 2nd full album, “Do What We Like” implements both dance-pop and house elements. The song illustrates the members’ assertion of their ability to live freely with the person they like. With its energetic build-up and drop, paired with its smooth and melodious undertones, “Do What We Like” is the perfect song for ending a nostalgic summer.
“Basics“
Complementing “Talk that Talk” from their 2022 ‘Between 1&2’ album, “Basics” tells the story about slowing down and taking the time to fully enjoy a relationship. This track epitomizes the pop sound with its energetic and groovy beats, complete with a harmonious bridge.
“Crazy Stupid Love“
With a different meaning from the other songs on this list, “Crazy Stupid Love” focuses on the bittersweet ending of a relationship rather than the exciting new beginning. The members sing about having mixed emotions from being stuck in a relationship that started out great and eventually became riddled with lies and conflict. While this track is more mellow, it empowers listeners to not settle for relationships where they don’t feel like their emotions are being valued.
