MAMAMOO has finally returned as a full group with the special single, ‘4WARD,’ on June 4. The long-awaited comeback follows their 12th EP ‘MIC ON,’ which was released in October 2022. Despite the almost four-year gap, anticipation never ceased for the group’s return while each member focused on their solo ventures.
The five-track album opens with “Blooming (Intro)” before fully immersing listeners with “4 Flowers” — a lighthearted mid-tempo track that highlights MAMAMOO’s familiar, breathtaking vocals. From there, the remaining tracks include the song’s instrumental, as well as official acoustic and Latin remixes. ‘4WARD’ takes its name from the fusion of the number “4,” which symbolizes their members, and “forward,” which conveys their shared desire to move forward as a group. New Music, New World Tour
Last but not least, with new music comes a new tour announcement! Or in MAMAMOO’s case, the other way around. A few weeks before the comeback, the tour was officially confirmed via a social media post that included some of the Asian and North American stops.
Starting in June, the MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR [4WARD] will kick off with three concerts in Seoul. The ticket selling for South Korea recently concluded after selling out all three days during the pre-sale. Following this impressive feat, they also sold all the tickets for Kaohsiung Arena in Taiwan. This heated public demand further proves MAMAMOO’s global popularity, undoubtedly marking them as one of the most sought-after K-pop groups today.
