KCON LA 2026 announced its first ever lineup of “KCON Messengers,” earlier this week!
The first lineup of messengers are ALPHA DRIVE ONE, Edward Lee, and PARK EUN BIN, representing the pillars of Korean culture that KCON focuses on: K-BEAUTY, K-FOOD, and K-STORY. The KCON Messengers highlight KCON’s continued commitment to celebrating all facets of Korean culture and lifestyle trends globally.
For over ten years, KCON has successfully combined elements of Korean culture with music fesitivites, establishing itself as a platform where fans can experience Korean culture and lifestyle in all its forms. From K-pop performances and artist interactions to beauty, food, storytelling, and lifestyle experiences, KCON LA 2026 continues to create meaningful opportunities for fans to engage with the full spectrum of Korean culture.
Under this year’s “K-SOUL CITY” theme, attendees will be able to explore a vibrant mix of Korean culture inspired by the spirit and energy of Seoul.
K-BEAUTY MESSENGER: ALPHA DRIVE ONE
ALPHA DRIVE ONE is WAKEONE Entertainment’s BOYS II PLANET suvival show group. Formed in 2025, the eight-member group will be making their first appearance at KCON, showing their United States fans explosive performances for the first time.
Known for their growing international fanbase and strong connection with global audiences, ALPHA DRIVE ONE will take part as K-BEAUTY Messenger under the theme “FIND YOUR SIGNATURE GLOW.“
The group will also help attendees discover their own “signature glow” through a variety of K-BEAUTY content and experiences featured throughout KCON LA 2026.
K-FOOD MESSENGER: EDWARD LEE
As K-FOOD Messenger, Chef Edward Lee, renowned chef and runner-up of Season 1 of Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars, will represent KCON’s efforts to showcase the growing global popularity of Korean cuisine and food culture.
Edward Lee has made multiple appearances on cooking shows, like Top Chef and Iron Chef America, and owns and operates his restaurants across the states. His appearance at KCON LA 2026 aims to highlight how food and music alike bring people together and inspire shared memories and joy among fans around the world.
K-STORY MESSENGER: PARK EUN BIN
Korean actress PARK EUN BIN, best known for her role in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, will connect with audiences through KCON’s newly launched “K-STORY ZONE,” a dedicated area celebrating all things Korean television and film. In her role as K-STORY Messenger, she will engage with fans on-site and share the power and appeal of Korean storytelling which continues to resonate with audiences around the world.
KCON LA 2026 continues to expand its position as the world’s leading Korean festival, offering fans new experiences that extend beyond K-pop music to showcase the many facets of Korean lifestyle and entertainment.
KCON LA 2026 will take place August 14–16, 2026 at Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center. Tickets are still available!
