In October 2026, JO1 will take on the United States with the release of their first full English EP, ‘ANIMAL.’ This follows the group’s announcement that they will make their debut in the United States this fall. In addition, their upcoming North American tour is called ‘ANIMAL.’ Dem Jointz, a Grammy and Emmy Award-winning producer who has worked with BTS, Rihanna, IVE, aespa, and other artists, was directly involved in this project. He is one of the most influential producers in the Korean pop industry.
JO1’s “ANIMAL” project is an 18-minute rollercoaster ride, full of adventure, energy, celebration, growth and human contact. Each of us has an animal inside of us, this project allows us to be loud & proud.

With the announcement of the EP and tour name, the EP artwork for each member and the group as a whole was released. The jacket EP features bold black-and-white traditional Japanese imagery with kanji and Japanese-inspired typography. ‘ANIMAL,’ which celebrates JO1’s roots and identity, will include a special origami insert for each individual member’s paper sleeve packaging as they continue their global expansion.
JO1 has been on a successful run with their ongoing dome tour, JO1DER SHOW 2026 ‘EIEN,‘ where the finale will take place at the Valentin Dome in Nagoya on July 19-20. Their English EP, U.S. debut, and accompanying tour, ‘ANIMAL,’ open a new chapter ahead for JO1 while staying true to their roots.
