On July 13, NCT WISH returned with their latest Japanese single, “YO-I-DON!” The six-member group, composed of Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya, delivered another addictive record that captures the essence of summer. A month prior, the boys also released “BOY MEETS GIRL,” a remake of J-pop group TRF’s 1994 hit. It also serves as the other half of their double single, completing the two-track album. Despite the pressure of breathing new life into a well-loved song, NCT WISH’s youthful appeal complements its nostalgic quality.

To celebrate their comeback, NCT WISH successfully held a showcase in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza on July 16. DJ KOO, the leader of TRF, also joined the festivities as the MC, which made the night even more special. He even shared how moved he felt after watching them perform “BOY MEETS GIRL” live. As expected, their first live performance of the double single was met with an overwhelming response from NCTzens. The event officially kicks off their promotions in Japan, promising even more surprises and opportunities to meet fans.
