TXT, the most highly anticipated Asian act at Lollapalooza this year, was the first Korean group to ever headline at Lollapalooza. Their popularity was evident with the thousands of fans lined up before the gates even opened. When the group came on stage that night, they delivered an absolutely unbeatable stage highlighting the group’s ability to perform a variety of genres successfully. TXT started off with “Dear Sputnik” and “0X1=LOVESONG,” the pop-rock songs that introduce them perfectly. After this, their song “Tinnitus” ignited the crowd with its upbeat and catchy melody. The group also performed multiple ballads and an unreleased song, “Blue Spring,” which MOAs sang with them from the crowd. TXT ended their headlining stage on a beautiful note as fireworks lit the sky and they closed with their song “Sugar Rush Ride.” Despite the cold and dreary weather, MOAs around the world came to give TXT a warm Chicago welcome as they made history at Lollapalooza.
