Helming the second season once again are directors Lee JQ (Daily Dose of Sunshine) and Kim Nam-su, with the script by returning writer Chun Sung-il (King the Land).

On July 23, Netflix unveiled the cast lineup for All of Us Are Dead Season 2. Confirming the return of key survivors from the original Hyosan outbreak are Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun and Lomon, as well as new cast members Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won and Yoon Ga-i, as the outbreak escalates to a new location and forces a new group of characters into the fight for survival.
Based on the popular webtoon by Joo Dong-geun, All of Us Are Dead is the harrowing story of high school students battling to survive and being trapped at their school during a zombie virus outbreak. The drama’s raw emotion and suspenseful storytelling successfully captured viewers worldwide, which paved the way for an even more thrilling second season.
Synopsis
After barely escaping Hyosan High, Nam On-jo (played by Park Ji-hu) is now a university student in Seoul struggling to move on from the trauma and the friends she lost. However, when a new wave of infection overwhelms the city, she once again finds herself fighting to survive. Only now, without the friends she once relied on.

Meanwhile, curiosity swirls around the fates of Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun) and Lee Su-hyeok (Lomon), as viewers wonder how they have been coping in the years following the outbreak. Cho Yi-hyun returns as the powerful and resilient half-zombie Nam-ra who recently captivated us in Head Over Heels. Similarly, known for Branding in Seongsu and Family Matters, Lomon reprises his role as Su-hyeok, still holding onto feelings for Nam-ra.

Adding to the suspense, On-jo forms new bonds with her university seniors. Weak Hero: Class 2 and Crash Course in Romance actor Lee Min-jae will play as university senior Yong Ma-ru. Kim Si-eun from Squid Game Season 2 takes on the role of popular student So Ju-ran. Yoon Ga-i, known for Love Scout and Undercover High School, shines as the blunt and cheerful student Lee Jong-a.

Meanwhile, Roh Jae-won (Daily Dose of Sunshine, Squid Game 2 & 3) introduces an entirely new tension to the storyline as Han Du-seok, a team leader in the National Intelligence Service (NIS), whose mission intersects with the growing zombie crisis in the capital.
