ARTMS DEBUT AS "VIRTUAL ANGELS" • POP TOKKI

On May 31st, 2024, ARTMS debuted with their 1st studio album, ‘Devine All Love and Live.’ Shortened as <DALL>, the album marks their first full-group release since joining Modhaus in 2023. ARTMS consists of LOONA members Heejin, Haseul, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry.

ARTMS began their debut rollout on March 28th, 2024 with the release of “Pre:1 Birth.” The music video shocked fans everywhere with its unsettling visuals and mysterious storyline. “Pre:1 Birth” follows the members as they journey through the process of rebirth after experiencing difficulties while encountering a shocking presence on the way. “Birth,” carries special meaning for the group, as it was personally chosen amongst 4 demos by fans to be released through Modhaus’ fandom voting app, Cosmo, ahead of the album. ARTMS’ generous debut rollout did not end there, as the group went on to release 3 more track videos for “Flower Rhythm,” “Candy Crush,” and “Air,” ahead of the official release of <DALL>. Fans were delighted to discover each pre-release incorporated references to previous tracks released by the members, including “Algorithm” by Heejin, “Plastic Candy” by Haseul, and “Air Force One” by Odd Eye Circle (Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry).

After a long and exciting wait, ARTMS released the music video for the title track “Virtual Angel” along with the release of the studio album <DALL> on May 31st, 2024. With ethereal vocal performances from the members and upbeat production, “Virtual Angel” creates a heavenly soundscape true to its name. The music video follows a group of fans as they worship their idols through several rituals, stopping at nothing to get as close to them as possible. ARTMS proved once again that they are not afraid of experimenting out of the KPOP box, as the frantic editing style of the music video became a topic of conversation among fans immediately upon release. The group subsequently released a “Human Eye” version of the music video with alternate editing and new scenes, which fans who may be sensitive to flashing lights can enjoy safely.
