Global K-pop sensation and EXO’s main vocalist, BAEKHYUN, has unveiled the official music video for “Lemonade”, a B-side from his million-selling fifth mini album, ‘Essence of Reverie’. Released on May 19, the album features double title tracks “Chocolate” and “Elevator”, showcasing his evolution as both a vocalist and storyteller ahead of his first solo world tour.
“Lemonade” pairs mid-tempo R&B with elegant string melodies to tell the story of a rekindled first love that gradually unravels. As the romance takes a bittersweet turn, the music video shifts from tender intimacy to an unexpected twist, further cementing BAEKHYUN’s reputation for capturing vulnerability through both sound and visuals.
Following its release, ‘Essence of Reverie’ surpassed 1 million copies in first-week sales, making it BAEKHYUN’s fourth consecutive million-seller and a historic feat for any K-pop soloist. Additionally, it topped iTunes Top Albums in 24 countries, while “Elevator” climbed to No. 1 on the Top Songs chart in 14 regions.
On May 30, BAEKHYUN brought “Lemonade” to life at the Seoul Jazz Festival 2025. He shared the stage with American singer-songwriter UMI for a soulful duet of “Do What You Do” and performed multiple versions of “Lemonade”, including a live band version that hints at the musical variety fans can expect on tour.
BAEKHYUN is now set to kick off his first-ever solo world tour, the 2025 BAEKHYUN WORLD TOUR <Reverie>. Spanning 29 cities across Latin America, North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, the tour opens in Seoul’s KSPO Dome on June 7 and 8.
