CIX MAKES AN ELECTRIC RETURNS WITH THUNDER FEVER

CIX is starting the year off strong with the release of their 7th EP ‘ THUNDER FEVER.’ This five-track album features the title track “THUNDER” along with pre-released singles “Lovers or Enemies” and “My Name is Shadow” and new songs ” Bad Moves” and “Everlasting Sun.” ‘THUNDER FEVER’ illustrates the sentiments of thunder and lightning, portraying them as a combination of anxiety and intense emotions. Group leader, BX, expressed his excitement for this comeback noting the music is a perfect fit for the group’s signature style.

“THUNDER”

CIX conveys a mixture of confused emotions and intense stimulation from love  in the title track “THUNDER.” As the group compares these strong feelings to thunder and lighting, the track grants listeners an electronic-pop sound with a groovy atmosphere. The music video follows the theme of thunder and lighting with electric visuals featuring lighting strikes and Hollywood-level special effects. The quartet flaunts the fascinating choreography against various backdrops like a parking garage and even in front of a tornado! The video isn’t complete without the fierce dance break, closing the video with flair.

“My Everlasting Sun”

‘THUNDER FEVER’ guides fans through their own anxieties and the final track “My Everlasting Sun” provides one last bit of comfort to fans of the group. In this ballad, CIX commits to staying with their fans forever without any fear, proclaiming that fans are their light and vice versa. This track is a heartfelt ending to the five-song EP that fans can revisit when they need comfort from their favorite group.
