11-member boy group THE BOYZ released their EP ‘PHANTASY Pt. 1 Christmas In August’ on August 7, 2023. To celebrate their recent comeback “LIP GLOSS,” here are some Deobi-sides from THE BOYZ you should listen to if you haven’t already.
Deobi-Side 1: Salty
We can’t talk about THE BOYZ B-sides without talking about “Salty.” Coming from their first album, ‘REVEAL,’ the song revolves around self-reflection, regret, and emotional troubles in a relationship. The bittersweet themes and lyrics are counteracted by the fun, dance instrumental. Deobi, fans of THE BOYZ, constantly give the group their flowers when it comes to this song.
Deobi-Side 2: Hypnotized
The idea of being hypnotized can scare some people, but it’s the opposite for THE BOYZ. “Hypnotized,” from their third single album ‘MAVERICK,’ expresses the intense power of lover and attraction. Over a mature, experimental, R&B instrumental, the group describes being unable to resist the pull of someone’s existence. The instrumental includes an anti-drop, leaving Deobi in a trance-like state, wanting more.
