AOMG’s rising girl crew Keyveatz just released their debut EP. Comprised of five tracks, ‘OXY_GEN’ explores genres spanning hip-hop, Jersey club, trap and R&B. The EP was released worldwide on June 30. Its title combines “OXY” (oxygen) and “GEN” (generation), which fits the pace so far, since Keyveatz went from a pre-debut single album in April to a full EP just two months later.

Keyveatz consists of five members. SON JUONE, KANG YESEUL, NEWY, KIM YUNA, and UM JIONE came together as part of AOMG’s “Make It New” rebranding project. They became the label’s first girl crew since AOMG was founded in 2013 by rapper and singer-songwriter Jay Park.
What’s on ‘OXY_GEN’?
To start things off, the EP opens with “Key Beats” and “Catch My Breath.” Keyveatz released this double single back in April to introduce the group ahead of their official debut.
“Key Beats” blends trap and Jersey club with a bouncy rhythm. Member UM JIONE wrote the lyrics herself, shouting out Seoul, Tokyo, and Rodeo Drive as the stages Keyveatz wants to perform at. Meanwhile, “Catch My Breath” opens with the members’ breathing, then builds into a tense, hook-driven track.
Moving onto the title track, “OXY” takes its name from the EP’s concept, pulling “oxygen” down to its rawest form. Keyveatz needs constant motion to survive, treating momentum itself as essential as air. After that, two more tracks close out the project, “SUB_ZERO” featuring punchnello and “SUCK IT UP.” All five members share the writing, composing, and arranging credits for the track “SUCK IT UP.”
Rather than celebrating the finish line or the final destination, ‘OXY_GEN’ focuses on the climb it took to get here. The EP captures the pressure and determination across its five tracks, giving fans an honest look at who Keyveatz is right now, still ambitious and still figuring things out. Although Keyveatz drew on underground and subculture influences ahead of this debut, the EP also reflects that with a genre-fluid sound.
Keyveatz spent the lead-up to their debut on stage. The group first held a pre-release event at Billboard Korea House in Seoul back in April, then took the stage at KCON JAPAN 2026 in May. Following that, they appeared at the 2026 Seoul Park Music Festival in June as well.
With festival stages already behind them and a full EP out now, Keyveatz shows no signs of slowing down.

‘OXY_GEN’ is now available on all major streaming platforms!
