A Nostalgic era for many fans, BTS’ “Spring Day” Comeback in 2017 was one of the most integral parts of the group’s later years. This era was deemed iconic for a plethora of reasons and is remembered by fans for the song’s heartfelt lyrics, live performances, and of course, the group’s stylistic choices.
Here’s our collection of the best stage outfits from BTS’ “Spring Day” Era!
Jimin
Starting off strong, Jimin stole the show during the M Countdown ‘S’ Class Special performance of “Spring Day.” Dressed in black ripped jeans and a hooded blue and white striped jacket, Jimin’s clothes were fit to work in favor of showcasing the fluidity and elegance of the “Spring Day” dance moves.
Suga
The BTS boys traveled back in time for this NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert Performance, and Suga did not fail to deliver some disco. Dressed in a paisley patterned shirt, tangerine orange pants, a black blazer, and pink/orange gradient glasses; Suga turned back the clock in his groovy get-up.
Jungkook
It’s hard to declare one “Spring Day” look as the most iconic for Jungkook, but when he chose to sport his music video attire during the group’s Music Bank performance, we were absolutely sold on ranking this fit first. His large knit turtle neck jacket combo, paired with strands of light pink hair paints the perfect picture of winter melting into spring.
V
While it is arguable that there are more elaborate stage outfits that should triumph over the simplicity of the styles worn during the Dear Class of 2020 Graduation performance, we would argue that sometimes less is more. During this rendition of “Spring Day” V is sitting on the left of the camera in a yellow and white lacy gold button-down paired with white pants. This look works well to reflect both the sophistication of the event, with crisp and clean attire but also plays with pastel colors that lean into the event’s theme of youth and nostalgia.
Jin
Jin’s 2017 KBS Song Festival “Spring Day” performance outfit is yet another example of how simplicity can look both sleek and chic. During this performance, Jin wears pressed black pants paired with a white button-up that showcases an elegant knot design at the base of the neck.
RM
Like Jimin, RM stole the show with his stage outfit during the M Countdown ‘S’ Class Special Performance of the ballad. While Jimin’s outfit for this performance was almost entirely baggy and loose – RM’s style nods in a similar direction but is contrasted with a black and white knit sweater vest which is cropped just above his chest. The group leader is also stylistically set apart through his black beret, allowing the purplish pink strands of hair from this iconic era to peek through.
J-Hope
Another double-performance, J-Hope’s iconic NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’s burnt orange suit paired with a paisley scarf was definitely a “Spring Day” serve. Seen dancing around throughout the Tiny Desk performance- this J-Hope outfit is proof that fun fits can affect how you feel. As for the ‘Spring Day’ performance, he is perched comfortably, flashing brown pointed loafers, and a red bejeweled microphone.
