K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN officially kicked off the U.S. leg of their SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN U.S. on Oct. 11 at the Tacoma Dome. The tour showcases a career-spanning setlist and celebrates another major milestone in their journey with their first-ever solo stages in America. The underscore in [NEW_] symbolizes limitless potential. It represents an open space for the group to reinvent themselves and continue evolving as one of K-pop’s most dynamic acts.

The group opened the show with a striking runway entrance to an instrumental version of “Bad Influence,” setting the tone for an unforgettable night. Followed by a high-energy, 27-song set filled with their signature blend of artistry, precision and teamwork. Each segment was brought to life through cinematic VCRs and heartfelt comments from the members, creating a cohesive flow between powerful performances and emotional moments.
The setlist featured CARATs’ (SEVENTEEN’s fans) favorite hits like “HOT,” “HIT” and “Rock with you” alongside new songs “HBD” and “THUNDER” from their fifth studio album, ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY.’

Solo and Unit Performances
For the first time in America, SEVENTEEN treated CARATs to solo stages. Each performance reflected the members’ unique musical colors and creativity. With JEONGHAN, HOSHI, WONWOO and WOOZI currently serving in the South Korean military, the remaining nine members took the spotlight with individual performances that showcased their distinct artistry.
DINO opened the segment with “Trigger,” a modern take on early 2000s hip-hop R&B, followed by JUN’s Afro-electronic “Gemini,” a soft reflection on self-rediscovery. VERNON lifted the energy with his bright anthem “Shining Star,” while JOSHUA’s acid jazz-infused “Fortunate Change” offered a soulful exploration of love.
DK brought warmth to the stage with his country-pop track “Happy Virus” and SEUNGKWAN stirred nostalgia with his emotional rock ballad “Raindrops.” THE8 then took the audience on a dreamy journey with “Skyfall,” blending multiple genres into a captivating performance. MINGYU amped up the crowd with his confident tech-house track “Shake It Off” before S.COUPS wrapped up the solo stages with “Jungle,” an Afro hip-hop track celebrating the group’s ten-year legacy.

Fan Favorites and Special Stages
SEVENTEEN also revisited fan favorites including “HIGHLIGHT,” originally performed by the group’s Performance Unit (JUN, HOSHI, THE8 and DINO). For this tour, the song was reimagined as a 9-member version, showcasing a fresh dynamic on stage. The group later performed “Domino,” “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” and their English-language tracks “SOS” and “Darl+ing.” Meanwhile, JOSHUA, JUN, THE8 and VERNON came together for “Network Love.”
Ahead of the encore, CARATs were surprised when subunit CxM (S.COUPS and MINGYU) performed their new single “5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman).” Although brief, the performance drew loud cheers from the crowd.
The three-hour show ended on a nostalgic and emotional note as SEVENTEEN performed “A-TEEN,” “9-TEEN,” “20” and “Eyes on you.” As always in true SEVENTEEN fashion, they closed with multiple rounds of “VERY NICE,” keeping the audience on their feet and singing along until the very last beat.
