Ten months after the release of their 4th mini album, ‘For Real?’, TNX is finally back on Jan. 22 with their new digital single, “CALL ME BACK.” Formed through the 2021 SBS survival show LOUD and managed under P NATION, the group now moves forward as a five-member lineup, TAEHUN, HYUNSOO, JUNHYEOK, HWI, and SUNGJUN, following KYUNGJUN’s departure in October 2024.
Compared to their previous releases, the boys take a refreshing turn by heading to Barcelona to shoot their music video for this comeback. Adding to the excitement, member HWI stepped up once again to lead the creative process, taking part in the songwriting, composing, and producing for the single album.

“CALL ME BACK”
“CALL ME BACK” is a continuation of the story from their March 2025 EP, ‘For Real?’ Leaning into the bittersweet but playful vibe, the members tried their hands at acting, experimenting with different facial expressions, filming styles, and camera angles. What makes it even more exciting is that they filmed on location in Barcelona, where the city’s unique atmosphere and colors better suit the song’s energy than in Korea. This setting perfectly reflects the bold and lively spirit that defines youth, capturing the members as they wander and sometimes even take reckless paths. Because they were filmed simply running and playing freely, those sincere feelings come through naturally, making the music video feel like a real reflection of what it means to be young.
Musically, the single carries the emotion of “waiting” over a bright and upbeat rock band sound. While the cheerful rhythm and crisp guitar riffs give the song a burst of energy, there’s a deeper layer of anxiety and anticipation that comes with waiting for a reply. This narrative naturally extends the emotional arc from ‘For Real?’, making the two releases feel like one continuous story. Rather than overdelivering on the vocals, the members keep their performances subtle, delicately revealing layers of emotion. This approach takes the track further than your typical “refreshing” summer song by giving the music a real sense of storytelling that follows the listener’s emotional journey.
“Love Letter”
The B-side, “Love Letter (그러니까 내 말은),” is actually TNX’s first time taking on a ballad, and it’s all about those quiet moments of unspoken feelings. With its simple melody and stripped-back arrangement, the song lets you focus on the members’ vocals and every breath they take. Rather than pushing the emotion on you, TNX lets their sincerity shine through in the pauses and the quiet space of the music. It’s a totally different side of the group compared to their usual high-energy sound, proving they can be just as moving in their calmer moments. Much like the silence before confessing to someone, “Love Letter” leaves an indelible impression and demonstrates how much the members have matured as artists.
