The famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Coachella) is one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S. The festival announced its 2025 lineup, featuring Hip-Hop/R&B girl group XG alongside other artists like ENHYPEN, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Charli XCX, Missy Elliott and more.
The festival will be held in Indio, California, over two weekends in April: Apr. 11-13 and Apr. 18-20. XG performs on Apr. 13 and 20, making them the only Japanese artist on the lineup. After releasing their second mini-album, ‘AWE,’ the group succeeded significantly. It debuted at No.3 on the Oricon Weekly Album ranking and Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums chart. Fans have loved this comeback and will be equally excited to hear it in a festival setting.
Their lead single, “HOWLING,” reached #8 on the U.S. Billboard Rap Digital Song Chart. This success follows the North American leg of their first world tour, “XG 1st WORLD TOUR: The First HOWL.” They are currently heading to six European cities, including Manchester, London, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam, before Coachella.
XG members Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Jurin, Maya, and Cocona have worked tirelessly since their debut in March 2022. The group has achieved amazing accomplishments in just two years and is excited to add Coachella to that list!
