Kim Hongjoong, leader of fourth-generation icons ATEEZ, has entered the spotlight with a groundbreaking collaboration alongside innovative rap artist Odetari for their single- “SMB.”
This project pairs Hongjoong’s fierce and unique rap skills and writing with Odetari’s production talents. Odetari, a rising star in the music scene, perfectly complements Hongjoong, as both artists are known for their experimental and genre-blending creations.
“SMB” embodies a bold journey into uncharted artistic territories, enabling both artists to express their distinctiveness while crafting something unique.
Although the lyrics are fierce with criticism of the music world and reminiscent of how their lives have changed after fame, the music video is a playful representation of the artists.
The music video features a dynamic dance battle between Odetari and Hongjoong, with each team’s members taking turns to showcase their skills. Hongjoong, supported by animated versions of the ATEEZ members, faces off against Odetari’s vibrant team.
This collaboration precedes ATEEZ’s European leg of their [TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER] world tour. ATEEZ will be heading to 12 cities in Europe from January to February. Known for their intense and immersive performances, the group is ready to deliver an unforgettable show with intricate choreography, captivating visuals, and deep fan interaction.
