Enhypen released their EP ‘DARK BLOOD’ on May 22, selling over 1.3M copies within a week. ‘DARK BLOOD’ also debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 as their first top 5 entry. The seven-member group starts their FATE tour at the end of July with two back-to-back shows in Seoul, Korea, followed by September 4 days in Japan. Ending it off with their U.S. leg of the FATE tour in October.
The Enhypen boys have been keeping busy, from the release of ‘DARK BLOOD,’ announcing their FATE tour in May. Then in June, becoming PRADA ambassadors as well as the announcement of the ‘Pokémon Music Collective’ collaboration.
COLLABORATION
K-pop and Anime fans gather around as the 4th generation K-pop boy band Enyhpen is set to release a new single & MV for Pokémon Music Collective. This newly released single ‘One and Only’ & accompanying MV is set to be released on July 12, with a teaser on July 5.
The official Twitter account for Pokémon shared the following tweet. This gained so much traction and excitement, with fans commenting how proud they were of Enhypen. With Pokémon being such a popular series, this collaboration will surely bring in a new stream of fans outside of K-pop.
Pokémon is one of the most notable anime worldwide that continues to bring together new and old fans. With this exciting collaboration, it brings K-pop fans and Anime fans together being some of the most dedicated we can’t wait to see how these two fandoms connect with this release!
