Ending 2025 on a high note, XG have officially opened the U.S. pre-order for their debut full-length album, ‘THE CORE – 核.’ Fans can pre-order their album version of choice through the XG Official U.S. Shop starting this week, giving everyone enough time to decide before its release on January 23, 2026.

The pre-order launch comes a month after they had the internet thrumming with fan theories over a cryptic teaser. The mysterious post featured the kanji character “核,” meaning “core” or “nucleus.” A day later, this was revealed to be the title of their newest tour and album. XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE will mark their second world tour, which will kick off in Japan in February 2026. Afterwards, they will perform for global fans across Asia, North America, Europe, Australia, and more. Further details on international tour dates will be posted at a later time.
Last September, XG gave eager fans a delectable first taste of their forthcoming album with “GALA” — their genre-defying pre-release single. With its high-energy tempo and empowering verses, it’s the perfect confidence booster to “turn the sidewalk to a runway.” Since the release, it has attracted global attention and even secured a spot on the Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart. Moreover, its fashionable music video also gained significant buzz, debuting at No. 1 on YouTube’s Music Videos Trending Worldwide Chart.
Getting to The Core: What it Means for XG
As XG enters a new era, ‘THE CORE – 核’ is a representation of the group’s innermost artistic identity. From day one, they have consistently turned heads with their commanding presence and experimental sound. Now, they’re aiming to explore the essence of their music even deeper without turning away from the XG we’ve grown to love. Simply put, their core can only be defined as “X-POP,” a one-of-a-kind genre that’s uniquely theirs.

With their first full-length album and world tour underway, 2026 is looking to be an unforgettable year for XG and ALPHAZ. These upcoming milestones continue the momentum from this year, after the septet made history as the only Japanese performers at Coachella 2025. On top of this massive achievement, they are also slated to perform during The Voice Season 28 finale on Dec. 16.
