Widely known for their unique sound and, more specifically, their insane stage outfits and fashion sense, XG has finally combined the two into a catchy, high-energy runway anthem “GALA” for their first debut album. Jam-packed in theme with futuristic, chromatic, and high-fashion visuals, XG continuously proves that they are one of a kind in their self-made genre. Heavily influenced by fashion (hence “GALA”) as well as familiar sounds from early ’90s garage to Y2K R&B and rap.
Merging worlds of creativity from fashion, makeup, music, and storytelling, XG perfectly blends all these genres, setting themselves apart from the norm and truly embracing and encompassing their out-of-this-world space theme. The “GALA” music video intertwines otherworldly visuals, highlighting styles and complementary scenery that fit each member accordingly. Setting the stage for the main event, Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Harvey, Maya, and Cocona hit the “stage” (planet Earth) as they blur the lines between reality and fantasy.
After having a successful year in 2025, headlining and participating on some of the U.S. and Japan’s biggest stages, XG continues to gain mass exposure and newfound fans as they redefine what high fashion looks like to XG, creating their own “X GALA”, as they transform the performance stage into a runway. “GALA” is just a small taste of what’s to come on their full-length debut album on January 23, 2026.
