TO DO X TXT is the official variety show for TOMORROW X TOGETHER aka TXT. ‘TO DO‘ kicked off its first episode on January 13, 2020. Since its release, ‘TO DO X TXT’ has been showcasing each episode every Monday and going strong. Each episode features moments that will make you howl with laughter as the five members play games, compete, and try new experiences outside their comfort zone. They even split some episodes into multi-part series (but since you can’t watch them as standalone episodes, we count them as one). Here are our picks for some of the funniest episodes of ‘TO DO‘!
‘TO DO X TXT – Ep. 5’
In the early episodes of ‘TO DO‘ the content was very standard and simple — TXT played all the typical games all variety shows do. This episode features the whisper game, arm wrestling, and a chicken fight. The pièce de résistance of this episode is the flour fiasco; where the members pass flour to each other using plates held in their mouths. Resulting in a chaotic mess, especially when the members begin getting flour on each other on purpose. Overall, Ep. 5 is a hilarious and well-rounded episode of ‘TO DO‘ for any viewer.
‘TO DO X TXT – Ep. 9’
Every group’s variety show needs an episode at the famous Lotte World. That’s where Ep. 9 of ‘TO DO‘ comes in as the first of two episodes are set in this amusement park. In this episode, the members of TXT play games while on the rides, from singing children’s songs on a swinging pirate ship to stringing together words on the carousel. Full of surprises and screaming, this episode is a thrill from start to finish.
‘TO DO X TXT – Ep. 57 & 58: A Fake Staycation’
Sometimes just hanging out at home can be a fun time. TXT has a blast during their “fake staycation” episode, in which they get to relax and make their shenanigans during their short staycation. The members enjoy the activities one would typically do during a staycation, such as having some fun in the pool and playing horror VR games. They also get to nap, listen to music, and order food. When left up to their own devices, TXT can make even a staycation a unique experience for both them and viewers of ‘TO DO‘.
‘TO DO X TXT – Ep. 64 Happy Holiday Party Part 2’
In one of the most iconic episodes of ‘TO DO‘, TXT fights over Christmas presents given by the ‘TO DO‘ production staff. Wrapped enticingly with paper and ribbon, these gifts contain items the members themselves said they wanted for Christmas. Included were both valuable gifts, like video game consoles, and less desirable items or gag gifts. Each member holds two mystery gifts with hints on what’s inside them. Then they each take turns randomly unrolling mystery instructions that tell them to swap gifts with other members, move all the gifts to the left or right, or make no changes. What makes this episode especially memorable is Soobin’s desperation to hold on to a PlayStation 5, while other members try to figure out what it is and take it. Other TXT members are desperate to get rid of other gifts they don’t like or strategize using better gifts as leverage over other members. This episode is a must, as it takes you on a huge rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end.
‘TO DO X TXT – Ep. 83 & 84 Fly, TXT!’
What boy group hasn’t had a traumatic experience with flying yoga? TXT put their strength and flexibility to the ultimate test under the instruction of Lee Sung Young, a frequent collaborator with ‘TO DO X TXT‘. Throughout the lessons, the members hang from ribbons using nothing but pure physical ability to make it to the end. Through their loud and visible suffering, they attempt spine-breaking acrobatics and defy gravity. Watching our favorite groups being pushed to their limits makes for the most sidesplitting content!
‘TO DO X TXT – Ep. 122 & 123 BETTER WATCH OUT’
Many variety shows feature scary zombie episodes, especially around Halloween time. However, ‘TO DO‘ gave us zombies for the holiday season. As the members prepare to film a lighthearted holiday episode, a contagious zombie virus breaks out in the HYBE building. TXT must escape the building and solve puzzles to make the cure for the infected. ‘TO DO X TXT – BETTER WATCH OUT‘ is chock full of shocking moments, twists, and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. This two-parter episode also features live actors portrayed as zombies to jump-scare the members. The episodes are edited in the style of traditional zombie movies, which makes the suspense even more thrilling.
