It’s comeback season for ATEEZ once again, and the charts are calling their name! Released on June 26, the boys officially returned with their 14th mini album ‘GOLDEN HOUR: PART.5.’ The five-track album serves as the latest chapter of their “Golden Hour” series, intricately expanding its lore.
ATEEZ entered their new era with the title track “BAD,” which immediately became a massive hit with its flashy beats and addictive hook. Described as “Brazilian funk,” it’s fittingly bold and high-energy in all the right places. The song was also accompanied by an exciting music video featuring American actress Chase Infiniti, endearingly known in the ATINY circle as a fellow fan.
Aside from the lead single, the album also included four B-sides: “MAMACITA,” “TOXIN,” “Fallin’,” and “Body.” All tracks showcase ATEEZ’s personality and their openness to different genres, with Latin influences clearly taking the spotlight on this album.
History in the Making
With such a powerful track line-up, it’s no surprise that ‘GOLDEN HOUR: PART.5’ topped the Billboard 200 upon release. This marks their third time topping the chart after ‘THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL’ and ‘GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2.’ Moreover, this album is also their ninth Top 10 album and biggest debut yet.
Another achievement on the list was their headlining debut at BST Hyde Park, one of the UK’s leading music festivals. It’s only the first of the many festivals lined up for ATEEZ this year, with more coming up in Poland, Istanbul, and Rome. On top of that, they also returned to The Kelly Clarkson Show for a special performance of “BAD.”
From music shows to global stages, ATEEZ continues to impress audiences worldwide with their one-of-a-kind energy and genuine artistry. With all of their milestones so far, there’s no denying that they’re one of today’s biggest K-pop groups.
