SM Entertainment’s leading 5th-generation boy group RIIZE returns with a slick new mini album: ‘II.’ Sticking true to their group philosophy of “Rise & Realize,” the mini album embraces their journey of growth through perseverance and owning who they are. This new release from RIIZE is already making its mark, surpassing 1 million copies sold globally within just four days of its release. This is the group’s fourth release to reach this milestone within its first week of sales.
Released on June 15 2026, ‘II’ is a six-track mini album, led by the energetic title track, “Do your dance.” The album highlights the group’s signature sound while expanding into new elements of their pop, dance and R&B influences. Its messages are dripping in self-acceptance and confidence, building upon a similar focus from their 2025 single album ‘Fame.’
The group consists of six members: SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SOHEE, and ANTON. At over a year since the release of their highly successful debut full album ‘ODYSSEY,’ the boys have spent their time well, growing fiercely into their identity without hesitation. After winning the Fans’ Choice Male Top 10 award at the 2025 MAMA Awards (alongside many other accolades within this award season), it is clear that the group’s popularity is continuing to soar higher and higher.
Their global audience is also surging exponentially—particularly since their history-making festival run in March 2026. This year, RIIZE became the first-ever male K-pop group to perform at all three Latin American Lollapalooza festivals. Their electric setlists took the crowds by storm. They also amazed audiences by enthusiastically delivering their stage interactions in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
“SOAR”
As the opening track of the mini-album, “SOAR” sets a strong voice from the boys straight away within this new release. “D-D-Done”
“D-D-Done” is a bass-house-inspired track with a vibrant, upbeat summer feel. It is a favorite among the members, with them already excited to perform it for crowds. The track feels inspired by their recent historical festival run earlier this year. As a lively and refreshing summer track that captures the wonder of living in the moment, it is a sure-fire hit in this setting.
“Overdrive”
A strong R&B hip-hop track, “Overdrive,” is built primarily around a heavy bass with highly satisfying and dynamic beat switches throughout. It is another highly motivational track, encompassing the group’s intention to continue racing fearlessly towards their dreams. “Like a Bomb”
“Like a Bomb” brings a funk-inspired element to the album and leans into a more romantic message. Musically, it is grounded in rhythmic grooves and more vibrant synth sounds. The track expresses the metaphor of “like a bomb” as the feelings of love building up inside that are unavoidably going to explode out.
“In a Loop”
As the final track of this mini album, “In a Loop” leaves listeners with a warm and uplifting energy. It is the most youthful and bright song on this album, staying true to the youth vibe that has always gone hand in hand with RIIZE. The members have labelled the song as a special love letter to BRIIZE (the group’s fandom). They convey a message of unwavering loyalty and connection to their fans, even through uncertain times.
