Since tripleS’ debut hit “Generation,” released in October of 2022 by subunit Acid Angel From Asia, the group has amassed a whopping 1.7 million YouTube subscribers and released 5 mini-albums within the span of one year. As they work their way up to 24 members, tripleS continues to release music and content at an impressive pace. The experimental group is known for embracing the unpredictable, as fans vote via the “Cosmo : the Gate” app (created by Modhaus Inc.) to determine sub-unit lineups, promotion order, title tracks, and more. Following tripleS LOVElution‘s debut with ↀ(Muhan) in August of 2023, EVOLution are carrying the baton as tripleS’ newest sub-unit.
After YooYeon, Mayu, NaKyoung, Kotone, ChaeYeon, JiWoo, SooMin, and YeonJi were chosen out of the 16 currently revealed members of tripleS to join subunit EVOLution, they made their debut on October 11th, 2023 with mini-album, ⟡(Mujuk). Through a collection of eight sonically ambitious tracks, ⟡(Mujuk) tells stories ranging from the strength in self-love to the growing pains of adulthood. During our roundtable interview with EVOLution, we gained valuable insight on the members’ fearless approach to chasing their dreams, as well as their thoughts on creative collaboration and their own artistic growth.
⟡(Mujuk)’s title track, “Invincible,” is about relentlessly pursuing a dream in the face of hardship. Similarly, tripleS is an ambitious and trailblazing project. How do you overcome the potentially unique challenges in pursuing this dream?
If there’s something I want to try, I always give it a shot. By persistently trying and challenging myself, I’ve learned that I usually achieve something in the end if I just take that chance. So, regardless of the outcome, I want to keep giving myself the opportunity to try.”

Collaborating with skilled creatives and receiving their feedback during the production process helped me enhance my overall skills and experiment with various musical genres. Their focus on elevating the album’s quality beyond what we can achieve as a group consistently yields outstanding results. Additionally, on a personal level, working with them has expanded my artistic horizons.”
