After a successful year, XG added one more highlight to this year by making their official U.S. television debut on NBC’s THE VOICE for season 28’s episode finale. Jurin, Harvey, Hinata, Chisa, Maya, Juria, and Cocona ended their first-ever world tour, “THE FIRST HOWL,” which they embarked on in 2024, with encore shows at the Tokyo Dome to over 50,000 fans in the summer. However, earlier this year they hit the SAHARA STAGE at COACHELLA, making them the first-ever Japanese group to perform at Coachella this year.
On their upcoming full-length album “THE CORE – 核,” which will be released on January 23, 2026, XG performed their recent single “GALA,” which has gained international recognition and recently entered the Top 40 on U.S. radio. Key components of “GALA” were emphasized during the performance, which was evocative of a lit runway catwalk with a big spotlight above the main stage. As each member sang their part and their names appeared one by one on the big screen behind them, XG took the stage in shiny, gold ensembles. This performance embodied the spirit of “GALA” and demonstrated XG’s self-assurance, star power, and influence as performers.
In addition to the new album, XG will embark on another world tour, XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE, kicking off in Japan in February 2026. The tour will then make its way across Asia, North America, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and more. Successfully completing their first U.S. TV performance and with their first full-length album on the horizon, XG continuously pushes to expand the boundaries of “X-Pop.”
