Intak of P1harmony has always been a go-getter. Whether it’s his dancing, his rapping, or his stage presence, he is ready to deliver. He shows us how much he enjoys his career and always puts his best efforts toward his goals. Although we could give Intak praises for numerous reasons, today we are going to highlight some of Intak’s most memorable verses from each album.
‘Disharmony: Stand Out’ – “That’s It”
Intak opens up “That’s It” and he starts strong. Not only does he come hard with his flow, but his moves and stage presence just add to the magic. “That’s It” is all about being confident despite the ideas that society has of “normal.” The way Intak jumps headfirst into the song already gives us pointers on what we need to know about being self-confident and ambitious. He’s letting everyone know that he’s here to make a wave…and that’s it.
‘Disharmony: Break Out’ – “Pyramid”
Imagine yourself winning one of the biggest victories you could win. You’ve made it to the top. What song is playing in the background? Because it should be “Pyramid” by P1harmony. Intak does what he does best by opening the track letting everyone know “I’m on the top of the pyramid.” He’s winning and the world deserves to know that. Not only is he at the top, but he’s gonna stay there. There’s no chance of flopping to the bottom for him.
‘Disharmony: Find Out’ – “Before the Dawn”
Intak opens the song once again, however, not with the same aggression as the previous tracks. “Before the Dawn” is a song about overcoming darkness with the hopes of a new beginning. His first verse describes the feeling of being trapped in a destiny that he feels he cannot escape from. This darkness begins to overtake and hopelessness is felt.
Intak’s second verse is more comforting as he advises the listener not to worry and that he’ll catch them if they fall. He also tells the listener to “…hold [his] hand and the darkness will pass.” The same dark, trapped feeling he described at the beginning of the song, has now subsided. He does an amazing job of conveying emotion and making listeners feel less alone. There is always light after the dark.
‘Harmony: Zero In’ – “Swagger”
If there’s anything to say about this song, it’s that Intak is very aware of how cool he is. He unapologetically raps about how awesome he and his P1harmony team are. He can’t help it! However, “Swagger” isn’t only about him and his members. He also lets listeners know that they’re cool and that they should know it in the lyrics, “I don’t know why I’m so cool. You’re so cool. Why don’t you know?” Ultimately, “Swagger” is a lighthearted track about navigating the world with confidence that you’re a boss and you shouldn’t feel bad about it!
‘Harmony: Set In’ – “Secret Sauce”
The play on words is Intak’s specialty in this track. If the previous picks didn’t prove that he’s got the sauce, then he’ll let you know now. “Secret Sauce” is all about the power of P1harmony and the swag that they carry as a group. They’re here to remind everyone that they’ve got the secret sauce to the flawless recipe that is their discography. “Give into your appetite, try it, taste it” he sings. “…Now your first pick, add it to your playlist.” So next time you consider listening to P1harmony, don’t be afraid to add some secret sauce to your playlist recipe.
‘Harmony: All In’ – “Jump”
Intak doesn’t need a beat to get himself jumpin’. As the rapper kicks off his verse in the title track of their most recent album, ‘Harmony: All In,’ Intak jumps in head first, no heavy beat required. You cannot miss how much fun he’s having throughout the entire performance of this song. With his amazing dance skills and catchy rap verse, he really perpetuates the meaning of the song. Drop all your worries, “Pump up the tempo” as Theo says, and jump!
If there is anything to take away from this, it’s that Intak is unapologetically himself throughout all of his work. He continues to have fun and let the world know that he’s just that guy.
