Jihyo, the leader of Twice just made a long-awaited comeback with her First Mini Album titled “Zone”. After teasing with songs and videos for months, fans received a wonderful album. This album features 7 different songs including “Killin’ Me Good” showing just how talented of an artist she is.
In her teaser video, she sang a snippet of each song live and fans were blown away. Her vocal range and style are showcased through many different styles of songs. We can see that her songs range from ballads to pop and even some with a little R&B twist. Since each song is unique, there is a little something different for everyone to listen to.
Her title track “Killin’ Me Good” starts with her on the phone talking to someone then opens up to the beginning of the song. The beat we hear has a great tempo with a synth-pop feel to it. Her vocals come in strong with her talking about kissing someone. How wonderful! Next up is the choreography with Jihyo showing off her strong dancing ability. This video features different camera styles from professional to home video. In this video, it seems to be giving the perspective of watching Jihyo’s love life unfold. Speaking of live life, viewers will notice a man who makes repeated appearances. Fans have already been trying to search for this man to figure out who he is. Through the rest of the song, Jihyo sings about this man ‘Killin me good’ which seems to make her giddy while thinking about this mystery man. She rounds out the song by giving her confession to this man and saying how swept away by him she is.
