On February 1, Ten, the main dancer and vocalist for NCT and WayV, made his highly-anticipated debut with a self-titled mini-album. The lead single “Nightwalker” also received an accompanying music video on the same day.
Consisting of six tracks, ‘TEN’ explores various genres such as dance, R&B, hip-hop, and Latin pop. His ability to completely embody each track makes Ten stand out from his peers as a music chameleon. From the seduction-filled intrigue of “Nightwalker” to the wistful yearning of “Lie With You”, it’s easy to fall in love with Ten’s artistry.
In addition to the album release, Ten kicked off his solo tour in Seoul this past weekend. He performed all six new tracks and will embark on an Asia tour. He will move on to Bangkok in his home country Thailand on March 3, followed by Hong Kong and Jakarta.
As members of NCT continue to release solo projects, each member showcases their unique style and innovative sound. Adding their personal touch to these albums, they continue pushing the envelope for K-pop solo artists. Leader Taeyong’s solo debut featured the experimental hip-hop title track “SHALALA”, as well as six other tracks that were more R&B inspired. Additionally, he will release another mini album on February 26, and member Doyoung is slated to make his solo debut later this year.
